This is the oldest. It is about 16 years old and is a pillow cover. It will be worked on a little bit each day until finished.
This is a needlepoint pillow cover that
is about 10 years old and needs a backing and pillow. I am debating between using black for the backing and a deep rose. I'll post when I get it done.
This embroidery is also about 10 years old. It started as a scarf for our entertainment center but since we will be getting rid of the old center when we get the new theater system I guess it will have to be turned into a runner for a really big chiffarobe that we have in our bedroom.
This Counted Cross Stitch is about 8 years old and one that I put away when I started getting migraines. It was so difficult to see that I just put it off. I have not had a migraine in a couple of years so I will try again.
This cat (you can almost see the face taking shape) is also about 8 years old. It is done with one thread and makes a lot of eye strain, but I am getting it out again.
This Cross Stitch is a wolf family and another I had to put away. It is on a frame that Larry made for me. I'll show it to you sometime. Again, if I put a few minutes a day in on it maybe it will be done this year.
This crochet piece is a buffet scarf and is only missing the flowers and leaves. The pattern came from an old Workbasket magazine from 1958. I managed to snag 2 of the magazines from my mom. They have some really great patterns and there are directions to adjust the patterns. This should be finished in a couple of months.
These motifs came from a tablecloth that my Sis-in-law showed me. The tablecloth came from her grandmother or great-grandmother. I love the pattern and when I find some decent variegated thread I will get busy on it again.
And, finally, the needlepoint kit I got to do in the car the last time we went to Arizona. I haven't been to Arizona in over 6 years. Since this is the smallest and most finished it is the one I am working on most. If it gets done by the end of the month I will DANCE like I'm still 12!
These nine are the ones I want to finish first because they are the ones I have been working on (or not) the longest. Every little bit completed is one more step in the right direction.
Write again later.
